No make up on. No hair styling BUT blue nails done. Take care!
Good morning to you! This year we see a new focus on growing your own houseplants indoor. And these are plants for your home to decorate with and to use as aircleaners, not to eat. And we see a lot of GREEN plants all over the world. Check this Instagram account out for example – @haarkon_ , a British couple travelling the world inspiring their followers to go more green.
Green #shelfie in the home of @haarkon_.
And we see hotels going more green focusing on environmental thinking all the way. From plants in the public areas, serving only green healthy food to this sustainable hotel in Amsterdam – Zoku. Here there are smaller doublerooms to rent but also lofts combining living/working/microliving in 25 m2.

The launch last year of Petter Stordalens new hotel in Stockholm – Hobo Sthlm. Also with a new style flirting with the new green trend in the lobby with a hydroponic garden where they grow herbs for the restaurant.
So this year be prepared for the houseplants to invade our homes (in all sizes!) and for the shops to sell a lot of personal pots. Like these handmade ones from Betuttad kruka.

Have a good start of this Monday! ?
During the fall I’ve been working on a real estate in need of a total remake. Now it’s for sale in the middle of Uppsala. See it all HERE. (I must say it looks better in reality than at the typical real estate images … ) Here we have chosen to stay close to the 80s when the house was built and to keep it classic when choosing materials, kitchen and bathrooms. A neutral base goes well with a lot of colors…

I want to be able to enjoy flowers as long as possible. Last week I bought branches of cherry and today I got 14 cream white roses from my husband.
So I rearranged and for two packages of roses (from the supermarket) it looks superfancy right ;)? On my Instagram you can see all the Insta stories (Check out the folder named ”DIY”) how quick it is to make the bouquets. Max 5 min.

Good morning! Hope you will have a nice Friday! I love Fridays… In todays new episode of TrendpoddenJohanna E and I discuss what happened some days ago when her business almost disappered in 10 minutes. How do you cope with that and how do you get the energy to restart? My podpartner has an unusual way of coping with life when the road gets bumpy… I am amazed! And I answer a question about curtains from a podlistener. Listen HERE. Kram Johanna

Started this morning by visiting Bonnier Konsthall, where Ire möbel, a Swedish furniture company manufacturing every thing in Sweden, were showing four new models of armchairs. Pure materials such as wood, steel and leather were being used by four different designer teams; Andreas Engesvik, Emma Olbers, Front, Broberg&Ridderstråle.

Which one I Liked the most? Hard to answer. Like all of these designers but the two guys at Broberg & Ridderstråle almost always make products I want to bring with me. Even this time…
Per PR had a press day and I met Mrs Color – Yvonne Karlsson from Beckers paint. She and her team creates a likeable collection this year don’t you think? A new paint easier to ”clean” is soon going to hit the stores.
Favorite colors and hues from Beckers.
My daughter is totally crazy in the Swedish baking program on TV ”Hela Sverige bakar”. The winner Andrea I got to meet today. The sweetest baker with the sweetest pastries… Yummy for the tummy…

See new interviews with for example Andrea on my Insta stories! Good night and don’t miss episode 52 of Trendpodden published at 1 am… Listen here.
A couple of days have passed since I started this year with its first Interior Fair in Sweden – Formex. In a couple of weeks the largest Furniture Fair takes place in Scandinavia and after that Iceland is calling in March… But Milano might have to wait. I am not sure if it will be possible this year puuh.
What did I take with me this first fair in Stockholm? Of course all meetings with people I really like. Like Agnetha Törnqvist who is a stylist, designer with green fingers. Here at the fair with the most beuatiful chandeliers she has designed both for outdoors and indoors. Handmade in Småland.
And a new young designer making wall art with ceramics and pots/vases to put on the wall.
And Regrow, two Young designers discovered this innovation to prevent vaste of vegetables. How cool and creative?
And the Swedish Interior chain Granit that are going from black and white interior to add some green color in their range of interior. Hopefully they start to design more of their own.
The ceramics company Paradisverkstaden based in the island of Öland continues to evolve (with the daughters) and are still making everything by hand. Bravo!

Kristina Stark tillverkar också sina produkter för hand som de nya vaserna nedan.

Danish Kay Bojesen reveales that this wood monkey – their bestseller – is actually handmade in Denmark. But only the ones made from this specific wood. The others are made in Thailand.
Danish brand Kähler produce their new pots in Portugal. A bit similar to the retro styled I have here at home but I like the green theme.
And a green theme is also seen at Eva Solo that is focusing on the outdoor life more and more with garden stuff and birdfeeding houses etc. And this interesting water can…

Well, these are my favorites for now. Take care and have a lovely new week!
Do you want to see more? Check out the films on Instagram. There is a specific folder in the header named ”Formex ss2018” where you can see a lot from the fair incl interviews with many designers!
Wish you all the best weekend! Thank you for reading… It makes me happy and I hope I will inspire you even more this new year 2018! And also share parts from my every day life with you.

Later this weekend I’ll post the longest post about this Interior week. But first Afternoon Tea with the family!
Enjoy the day!
Hello Formex, one of the largest fairs for interior design in the Nordic countries. This years theme? – World of shapes. And yes you can see many shapes but round shapes are trending. The trend exhibition in the entrance hall was made by some of the most talented stylists in Scandinavia; Synnove Morn, Sasa Antic, Cilla Ramnek and Tina Hellberg. Go check them out on Insta!
Here styling by Tina Hellberg that truly shows the new trends that are about to come…
Styling by Sasa Antic. Sophisticated and likeable for a large group of consumers.
Styling by Cilla Ramnek. Also one of my favorite artists that make wonderful patterns.
So first impressions?
After 3 weeks in Asia and Indonesia I can definately see where many of the Interior companies buy their whole range of products designed and produced in Asia.
Then you have the producers that design in Scandinavia and produce in Asia.
And then you have the few brands that design and produce in Scandinavia or nearby. Like Iris hantverk that also won the Formex Formidable for this hand brush I am holding.
Ending the day with a trend lecture by world famous trend guru Li Edelkoort. What she said? Listen to this weeks episode of Trendpodden sending from the fair on Friday!
Good night and sweet dreams from a snowy and freezing Stockholm! Kram Johanna
