Oh yes, there are lots of shopping in Dubai…!This is a shopping Mecca for the whole Middle East region. Last year I wrote about shopping interior design here in Dubai. This year I focused on the kids at Dubai Mall. After Christmas Day all stores have sale. The new thing here in UAE is the tax on 5% which was introduced Jan 1st 2018 and added on the price not to forget when you go here. I love some of the French brands like Petit Bateau, Jacadi and Bonpoint. They can all be found in the worlds largest galleria – Dubai Mall.
Bonpoint I like especially because of their interior store decoration mixing vintage and modern in such a nice way. And this time they sold out some clothes in larger sizes for 10 dollars each! Perfect for my kids. And after shopping you can eat food from almost every part of the world. The kids will love the candy store Candylicious. Expensive but one of a kind…
When I decide I prefer this place. A coffee and a macaron at La Durée. Unfortunately they closed their store in Sweden. Their macarons are for sure the best. Yummy!
Dubai Mall shopping and eating. Here La Durée.
And lunch at Obama favorite Five Guys to have the best burgers in the world or at The Cheesecake Factory that have nice kids menus. This year we once again had lunch at Rainforest Cafe. A perfect spot to see the fishes and sharks in the huge auqarium and with a jungle theme like nothing else. But this time the food was really bad. Go here for the show that starts every 15 minutes and for the view, not for the food!

And are you looking for toys? There are several toy stores in the basement and in the third floor where all kids shopping is gathered. In all price ranges of course…
